Condition Guide

Condition Guide

This guide explains the condition grades Longsword Collectibles uses for raw (ungraded) cards. Condition is judged on the card's front and back, looking at edges, corners, surface and overall wear. Listing photos show the actual card unless noted otherwise, so please check them along with the grade.

Near Mint (NM)

The card looks nearly unplayed. It may have minimal wear, such as a tiny edge nick or a very light scuff, but no major flaws.

Lightly Played (LP)

The card shows light wear, such as minor edge or corner wear, light scratches or small scuffs. There are no major creases, bends or water damage.

Moderately Played (MP)

The card shows clear wear, such as noticeable edge and corner wear, scratches, scuffing or minor creasing. It is still fully intact.

Heavily Played (HP)

The card shows heavy wear, such as major edge and corner wear, creases, heavy scratching or discoloration. It is still intact and recognizable.

Damaged (DMG)

The card has significant damage, such as tears, large creases, water damage, ink marks or other major flaws. Damaged cards may not be tournament-legal, even in opaque sleeves.

Graded cards

Graded cards are listed with their grading company and grade, as shown on the slab label. Grades are assigned by the grading company, not by Longsword Collectibles.
